For the past 15 years, Gus has been focused on hygiene including the widespread problems of microbial transference. He has liaised with numerous Australian and international hygiene and health organisations, including the World Health Organisation, to gather scientific data about microorganisms, their effects on humans, how they are transferred and how to eradicate them.
In 2020, with the COVID-19 pandemic having a huge impact on the business world and society in general, Gus called on his extensive understanding to devise the White Tick™ program and to launch The Hygiene Group™. He has assembled a team which will be able to provide on-the-spot hygiene assessments and training.
Our mission is to help people become increasingly aware of the dangers of poor hygiene, and we are passionate about creating a healthier and safer place for all Australians.
Every time we touch something or someone, millions of microorganisms are transferred and some of them can be harmful to our health. Prevention is better than cure and hand and surface hygiene is the first line of defence. There are right and wrong ways to sanitise your body and surfaces and we want to show people the right way.
